The Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe
I got my crested gecko today! I've wanted one for a good 6 month, but I finally had an excuse to get one, as I will be using him in my animal behavior study for school. I've been preparing for one for over a month, and today I finally got to bring Jagger home!
He's gorgeous, tame and handleable, and has already found his food, humid hide, and has pooped. He came from Tails and Scales, a small local reptile shop.

Daleks do not tell stories!
I have an essay due in one of my classes in 16 hours. I was reading the instructions, and I simply couldn't help myself.

Interestingly, the essay is supposed to be about conflict and how to resolve conflict. EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINAAAAATE!

One Hell of a Doughnut
A few days ago it was fish fingers and custard (followed by a repeat for lunch the next day).
Today for lunch I had fish and chips. Not the best fish and chips, mind you, but good enough. Long John Silver's thick cut cod basket is a HUGE improvement over their typical offerings.
I went to The Donut Whole tonight with my brother in search of good internet and a change of scenery. I wanted a donut but had no idea what - there are so many choices.
Then I saw it.
BAD WOLF.

The pink icing is rose flavored. The glitter is bits of time vortex.
I have never been so happy about a doughnut in my life <3
UPDATE: I know you're curious. Yes, I crap time vortex after eating this ;)

Fish Fingers and Custard
This clip is my favorite out of Matt Smith's run as The Doctor so far.
The first time I saw it, I was mildly disgusted at fish custard. The second and third time around it sounded doable. Today I was browsing Reddit and someone asked if anyone had tried fish fingers and custard - and ALL the responses were praising its total awesomeness. So I figured, why not?
Dinner tonight was fish fingers and custard.

Well, fish sticks and pudding. I am in the US after all, and have to make do with what I've got. I used Vaan de Kamp's Extra Large Fish Sticks because they are the biggest ones I could find. They still don't even come close to the size of the fish fingers in the clip. I had every intention of making my own custard, but once I was at the store I got lazy and bought a pack of Jello Coon-N-Serve vanilla pudding. I failed at making the pudding, so I shudder to think what my custard would have looked like. Anyway, after trying it, it was QUITE tasty. Fantastic even. I don't think I'll ever buy another bottle of tartar sauce. Sure beats jelly babies (as much as I wanted to like them, they made me feel terrible every time I ate them).
Next time, REAL custard.
